Saundra Thurman-Custis, president/CEO, founded Crystal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) in 1989 as an independent maid service serving the local community. During its first 10 years CEI’s customer base grew to include office parks and larger venues such as the Showplace Arena and Bowie Baysox stadium.

Initially, only through referrals, various government contracts were sole sourced to the firm and others specifically requested bids. Since 2003 the company has grown by more than 18% annually. Today, CEI offers over 20 years of the highest quality food service management and facility maintenance expertise to both federal and local government contracts as well as private industry facilities which operate seven day per week.

The company is an S-Corporations based in the State of Maryland.
